Winner of the Inner West Council wall2wall competition 2017
The wall celebrates the Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre and the diverse groups it serves. The centre co-ordinates an amazing and safe space in Balmain Uniting Church Hall for all kinds of people to seek help, help others or just get out of the house and have a cuppa.
The faces in the design are people who make use of the services at the centre. The shelter was inspired by the colourful knitted blankets one of the group makes and hangs around the hall before giving them to charity.
